E-MAT (Medical Equipment Management & Traceability System) more info

Today, E-MAT is helping Medical Physics' staff to efficiently and effectively manage over 7,000 items of medical equipment to the high standards demanded by Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust.
Jointly developed by Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust and Barwick Systems, E-MAT has been described as "the definitive medical equipment management and traceability system".

The Midlands based Direct Care organisation have installed a version of E-MAT to control 41,000 items of equipment supplied to NHS clients.

Expanding our software to reach more users and different platforms, Barwick Systems are pleased to announce EMATweb... Call Logger functionality can now be accessed via a web browser or "web enabled" PDA/mobile-phone.

Training System more info

Within the Training System, certificates may be awarded and training due details may be identified. It is also possible to determine:

If a member of staff is authorised to use a particular item of medical equipment.
Identify trainees who have been trained within a particular department.
Query trainees that have been trained on a particular type of equipment.

PC System more info

A module tailored to facilitate the management of PC computer systems and other Non-Medical equipment.
An enhanced call logger, logs PC calls and captures service history. Additional PC details are maintained on a similar but distinct database to E-MAT.

E-MATpda more info

Allocated jobs may be downloaded to a PDA for a specified technician.
Service history details may be completed in situ (including consumables etc.).
Completed jobs may be uploaded to E-MAT and the service history details are immediately available.

PAT tests may be completed with minimal user interaction, and the results may be viewed via service history entries.
A sequence of tests may be assigned to specific equipment models or to generic templates.
Pauses may be included with user defined messages. Modules, equipment class and test limits may be configured.
PAT tests may be performed from within E-MAT OR remotely in situ on a laptop (with data synchronisation).
Test results are attached to a service history if a job exists. If not, a new service history entry is automatically created.
