E-MATpda

Allocated jobs may be downloaded to a PDA for a specified technician.
Service history details may be completed in situ (including consumables etc.).
Completed jobs may be uploaded to E-MAT and the service history details are immediately available.
This removes the duplication of a technician completing service history entries on a job card and a clerk updating these details into the system.

E-MATpda supports more than 300 PDAs, and smartphones including Palm OS®, Pocket PC, Sony Ericsson®, and Nokia®, as well as dozens of industrial barcode and ruggedized devices from companies such as Intermec®, HHP®, and Symbol®.

The technician must first select the job they wish to enter service history for. You may enter an equipment number to search.

The jobs are sequenced by department.

You will then be presented with a screen detailing the equipment and fault reported for the selected job.
The date of service, action taken and job outcome should now be entered.

The order number, invoice number, contract finance code, serviced in-house, company and technician should now be entered.

Clicking in the order number, invoice number or the contract finance code box will bring the selected box in front of its associated label.

Clicking on the title bar on this screen will bring up the parts and equipment used options (Not viewable in this screen shot).

If a PPM or PAT test was performed it should be entered here along with the time taken and any associated costs.

You may also enter a signature in the box provided.

Clicking on the title bar on this screen will bring up the parts and equipment used options (Not viewable in this screen shot).

Any consumable parts may be added, along with warranty and external parts.
Any equipment that was used to service the item may be entered.
PAT Test results may also be entered.
